I was born and raised in Farmington, NM, and have lived in Arizona for almost four years. I am blessed to have been a part of several amazing non-profit organizations in Farmington, that taught me the meaning of small-town heroes. San Juan Regional Medical Center, San Juan Medical Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Farmington, and the Farmington Chamber of Commerce helped me be who I am today. 
When moving to Arizona, we knew it would be a struggle, but now after several years, I am forming that all familiar hometown group of community. My husband Jason and I owned a Water & Ice in Chandler, and now own San Tan Bikes in San Tan Valley. I am so excited to now be the Development Director for the Grand Canyon Council - BSA. Non-profit youth organizations are my heartbeat, and our youth do drive the future.
